Boo-hoo: GM coffee crop vandalised

Gosh, get out yer cryin' hankies: a genetically modified crop was cut down by "vandals" (read: environmental activists) before it could be shown what environmental harm could come of planting it. Special to GMO scintists: it's called horizontal gene transfer, and don't tell us it won't be years before we actually know anything about the environmental harm of these articial species... those f-ing artificial genetic constructs could be everywhere before you get around to testing for all the contamination that has taken place ... for that reason alone, your GM crops deserve to be shut down. The environment is under too great a strain already to be jumping on the fault line ...
